Britney Spears’ child support payments to her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, are coming to an end now that their youngest son, Jayden James, turns 18 on September 12.
Britney and Kevin, who were married in 2004, have two sons together: Sean Preston and Jayden.
Following their divorce in 2006, Federline was granted full custody of the boys during Britney’s conservatorship. Although she regained some custody rights in 2019, Britney has been paying child support for 17 years, totaling over $5 million.
With both sons now reaching adulthood, these payments will cease, marking a significant shift in Britney’s financial responsibilities.

However, it has been reported that she will not be celebrating Jayden’s birthday with him, as he currently resides in Hawaii with Kevin and his wife, Victoria Prince.
Federline has commented on the boys’ decision to limit their contact with their mother, describing the situation as “tough.”
In response, Britney has expressed her sadness and frustration, particularly regarding how her social media presence has impacted her relationship with her sons.
