Kelsey Grammer is clearing up some past misunderstandings with Ted Danson. The two actors, who starred together on *Cheers*, recently shared that they hadn’t spoken for nearly 30 years.
Grammer is now offering some clarity on what really happened.

“There wasn’t really an argument,” Grammer explained, sharing that he was going through a tough time in his life, dealing with self-doubt and drinking.
Danson had expressed frustration about Grammer not always being prepared, and Grammer respected that.

Grammer believes Danson may have distanced himself to protect his own well-being, but both moved on after their brief conversation.
The two reunited in October on Danson’s podcast, where Danson apologized for their strained relationship.
Grammer appreciated the gesture and recalled some great advice Danson had given him: that turning 40 meant finally being “worth having a conversation with.”

As for a *Cheers* revival, Grammer made it clear that won’t happen, given how much the world has changed. However, he’s still in touch with some of his former co-stars, especially Woody Harrelson.
