Natalie Portman, 44, is expecting her third child — her first with partner Tanguy Destable, a French musician. She confirmed the pregnancy in an April interview with Harper’s Bazaar, then made it official in late July with an Instagram photo of her cradling her baby bump, captioned “Counting the days until we meet you.”
She’s already a mother of two: son Aleph, 15, and daughter Amalia, 9, from her marriage to director-choreographer Benjamin Millepied.
Portman and Millepied married in 2012 and divorced in 2024. She has been with Destable since 2025. In mid-August, the couple was seen enjoying a relaxed day out in Paris — a walk through a park followed by a trip to the movies.
Beyond her family life, Portman has stayed publicly engaged on political issues this year. Ahead of Israel’s 2026 election, she voiced support for the new Arab-Jewish political party “A Place for Us All,” describing the movement behind it as one of the most courageous developments in Israeli-Palestinian relations in recent years.
On the career side, 2026 has kept Portman busy: she stars in and produces “The Gallerist” alongside Jenna Ortega, is filming a New York-set drama with Mark Ruffalo and Meg Ryan, and is attached to Lena Dunham’s Netflix rom-com “Good Sex.” Her classic “V for Vendetta” also returns to theaters this November for its 20th anniversary.
