Disabled Man Climbs Out Of Wheelchair To Save Kitten

A disabled man gets out of his wheelchair and puts his life on the line to rescue a kitten trapped in a drain.

A Malaysian disabled man was praised for his kindness last Saturday morning when he left his wheelchair to rescue a little cat trapped in a storm drain with no way of escaping.

Abu Fathiyyaturahma Menk Abdun Mujtahid, a paralympic athlete, is 30 years old. On their approach to the neighboring Kota Kinabalu Sports Complex, he and his disabled companion came upon a cat caught in a drain, clinging to the concrete barriers. Abu wrote in Malay that the poor thing was already soaked.

His companion, who was unable to get down due to his prosthetic leg, was able to video Abu rescuing the cat.

Abu posted a video of the touching scene and told the story. Everyone thanked him for his generosity and for saving the cat in such dangerous conditions.
