On a totally normal day, Paul Skinner was riding down the road when he came upon a sad mother spaniel. Her eyes were tear-filled, and she seemed to be in a lot of pain.
When he approached to the dog, he discovered something really bad: the mother was carrying dead pups in a waste bag. A 3-year-old dog named Carly was carrying a garbage bag holding the remains of her puppies when this happened in Midville, Lincolnshire.
He saw the incident while cycling with his friends, he told the British Borough Council. They searched for the owner but only discovered the dog licking the fish and chips carrier bag that contained her dead puppies. He couldn’t believe someone could be so cruel as to do such a brutal act.
He then called the cops, the RSCPA, and the Greyhound Sanctuary, who all responded to help the grieving mother.
PCSO The vet believes the puppies were delivered alive and that the dog was abandoned for so long that the puppies died, according to Mick Fern, kennel manager at Fen Bank Greyhound Sanctuary.
