Police Officer Saves Donkey from Oncoming Highway and Drives him to Safety

Kyle Canaan got a strange phone call from the Oklahoma police department one day, requesting him to help with a wild donkey.

Robin Stryder had phoned 911 to report a scared donkey wandering the dangerous roadway.

Officer Canaan arrived to find Stryder had managed to calm the donkey and transfer it to the side of the road.

Canaan wasn’t sure how to deal with the problem at first because it was unlike anything he’d ever seen, but Stryder had a solution.

She was pleased to adopt “Squishy,” the donkey she called, but the problem was that she lived a few miles away.

Officer Canaan arrived to the rescue and instead of waiting for animal transport, he opted to take Squishy for a spin in his car.

He stated the two seemed to get along well, but there was one problem. He explained, “It used the bathroom in the rear of my police car.”

“I mean, there was a lot of it, so I must have gotten it immediately after breakfast.”
