Maggie, who is five years old, is definitely a miracle dog, given the difficulties she has previously had to overcome in order to survive.
Her journey of bravery and determination started in Lebanon. Maggie was discovered with one ear chopped off and a broken jaw, chained to a box. Maggie was abused and then shot 17 times with a shotgun while still pregnant, causing her to lose her vision completely.

The sad puppy was spotted by a citizen in Lebanon, who posted a message on social media asking for rescue. The Wild At Heart Foundation stepped in after a woman in London noticed the plea and offered assistance. Maggie was found and rescued. She did, however, have to go through surgeries and various treatments before being adopted and finding her ultimate home in Brighton, England.

Maggie’s journey does not come to end here. Wild at Heart Foundation assisted her, and she was brought to a home in Brighton by someone who adores animals. That was a girl whose name is Kasey.

Kasey Carlin, 25, is the owner of Maggie, who has over 248,000 Instagram followers and is now a star on the Internet. Kasey quit her work as a dog-care center manager to focus solely on managing Maggie’s Instagram account.

The dog made a full recovery after being rescued and is now used as a therapy dog with a large following on Instagram. According to Kasey, a man from Lebanon published a picture of the dog and begged people to help the animal. The message was observed by a lady from London, who backed it up.

“She has taught me and others so many things; we all know what she stands for since we were taught it as kids.” She does, however, remind me of them on a regular basis. Treat people the way you want to be treated, don’t judge a book by its cover, love conquers all, be humble, enjoy life to the fullest, serve others, you are in charge of your own happiness, and you can do anything if you believe! Kasey told Bored Panda, “Everyday she reminds me to try to be better and achieve better.”

Maggie has recently completed her training as a therapy dog and has been visiting hospitals, nursing homes, and universities, where everyone can sense her serenity and happiness. Maggie has won the hearts of both her owners and Kasey’s other dog, Mishka, at home.

“I’m amazed everyday that so many people are invested in her story. For so long, no one cared about her, when I agreed to foster her it was because no one else wanted to! I’m glad she can share such a positive message with the world” – finishes Kasey.

Maggie is a typical dog with a simple temperament, but she is dealing with some serious health issues. The dog, according to the owner, is talented and bright. She has a lot of energy and is quite playful.
