After three years apart, a soldier and his military working dog meet, and their reunion is very emotional

Sgt. Joe Stasio and K-9 Enzo worked with the Marine Corps for nearly a year together. They trained together in Kuwait for seven months before returning to the United States. They last saw one another in January 2017, but now that Enzo is 8 years old and it is time to retire, Stasio was able to adopt him with the help of Mission K9 Rescue.

Though they were unable to reconcile instantly, the two were ultimately reunited after 3 years in a beautiful scene at New York’s Buffalo/Niagara International Airport. Stasio waited outside the elevator for Enzo and hugged him as soon as he spotted him. Enzo was airlifted from Camp LeJune in North Carolina to Buffalo so that Stasio could join him.

“Regaining Enzo means everything to me.” “He and I have a great relationship,” Sgt. Stasio told WKBW TV. “It’s fantastic to be able to adopt him!”

You’ll like the incredible reunion in the video below. Watch all the way to the end. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy!
