Nothing in this world compares to the relationship that exists between a child and their beloved dog. Dogs are excellent pals for children, and it is recommended that every youngster have a dog. Pet dogs are loyal companions that will go to great lengths for their owners and friends.

They will sometimes put themselves in danger to ensure that their proprietor is saved. So here’s one small enduring pet that defended her 10-year-old owner from a predator while suffering injuries herself.

Macy, a six-year-old Yorkie mix, is the dog’s name. She lives in Scarborough, Toronto, with her owner, Dorothy Kwan, and her family.

Macy was out for a stroll with her 10-year-old friend when they came face-to-face with a wild prairie wolf.

In this case, the dog acted as a hero by protecting her owner’s little daughter. The prairie wolf tried to bite Macy, but Macy kept barking, and the prairie wolf finally ran away when a small dog chased after it.

She suffered horrific injuries, yet she succeeded, and her owners were quite proud of her. Dorothy said that she was hurt in her torso and leg, and that she had surgery at an emergency pet hospital to fix her injuries.

Dorothy was devastated to see that her dog had been severely hurt. Actually, she was a single mother of two children, and her two children, as well as her beloved dog, meant a lot to her.

Macy’s care at the animal hospital cost them thousands of dollars, so the family put up a GoFundMe campaign to seek funds for her rehabilitation. People came to give after hearing Macy’s heroic tale. As a result, the website has about $20,000, which is more than twice their aim.

The good news is that Macy is now on the mend. Dorothy claims that her fever has subsided and that she has regained her desires. She really is a little pet dog. We want her to recover quickly.
