A guy had finally adjusted to his new community, but something was still lacking. He reasoned that obtaining a friend in the shape of a dog would be great. So he did just that. He went to the shelter, where a black lab called Reggie was looking for a new home. But they didn’t click straight away.
The guy gave it two weeks (the period the shelter suggested for the dog to adapt to his new home), but it simply wasn’t working out. Perhaps it was the fact that he was also attempting to adapt to a new circumstance. Perhaps they were too similar. But when the guy went through Reggie’s belongings, he was reminded of a note the previous owner had left with the dog. That is what would drastically alter their lives.
