A postal worker in New Zealand was caught on hidden camera taking a break from his rounds to visit a very grateful pooch (and it’s just lovely).
Best of all, this is not an isolated incident.
According to the dog’s owner, Michael Collins, the unnamed mailman has been dropping by his home every day to spend some time with his pet — even when there is no letter or item to deliver.
Because the nice canine is so misunderstood by those who don’t know him, the little act of kindness is all the more gratifying. Collins commented on Facebook, “He’s usually ignored as a scary or unapproachable dog.”
“But this man here constantly gets off his bike to give him a hug and a pat!” Who says postal employees and dogs can’t get along? Cats, on the other hand, may be an entirely different scenario.
