It’s a gorgeous day, and Max the Great Dane simply wants to jump in the pool and relax. But Mom isn’t having any of it!
His human, however, does not want him to swim. This large man starts whining gently, but quickly turns into a deafening yell, similar to a toddler who is denied his favorite candy.

To make matters worse, Max is deaf.It’s amazing how he can lip-read and comprehend his owner’s hand signals. He generally has little trouble agreeing with his mother, but right now he is quite sad since he is not permitted to enter the pool!
He even approaches the pool’s edge and attempts to dip just one paw into the water, as if to test the temperature (and his mother!). But he doesn’t listen and keeps whimpering, which has become a very persistent way for him to show that he is annoyed.

We hope Max was able to swim at some point. Every dog deserves to have a good time!
