John Travolta posts a cute video of a rescue puppy kissing him awake

Hollywood celebrities may seem to be quite different from you and me, but in some respects, they are – particularly when it comes to their dogs.

Animals love you unconditionally, no matter how famous you are, and a pet’s affection might be the finest thing in the world.

John Travolta recently released a wonderful video of his family’s rescue puppy waking him up in the morning with plenty of love and kisses.

The Grease and Saturday Night Fever singer thrilled hearts earlier this year when his family acquired a rescue dog called Mac-n-Cheese, who was included in an Academy Awards tribute to the late Betty White.

The dog is currently owned by the actor’s 11-year-old son, Benjamin, and has made himself at home in the family’s house. The dog, who has been called Peanut, seems to have a crush on the Pulp Fiction actor as well.

In a video recently published by Travolta on social media, Peanut crawls on top of Travolta in bed and begins licking his face in a video. Travolta captioned the video, “This is now Ben’s dog Peanut waking me up.”

The actor seemed to enjoy the dog’s devotion, saying “I love you” and laughing at the dog’s licks.

The video quickly went viral, and a lot of famous people, like his daughter Ella and Michelle Pfeiffer, talked about it.

The rescue puppy was seen by millions of people before he was adopted by Travolta: the rescue puppy was highlighted at this year’s Oscars event, hosted by actress Jamie Lee Curtis.

The Oscars paid a special homage to Betty White, who died on December 31 at the age of 99, during the show’s memorial portion. Curtis brought the small puppy out on stage because the late Golden Girls actress was such a champion for animals, particularly rescued dogs.

“She was not merely a Golden Girl; she was a legend who lit every room she entered into and brought a smile to the faces of those who watched her on the screen,” Curtis said of White in her tribute. “And she was a lady who cared so much for creatures like this day in and day out for over a century, not just her two-legged companions.”

“The best present you could offer Betty White is to open your heart and home to a rescue canine like Mac-N-Cheese from Paw Works.” So thank you, Betty, for being a friend to all of us. ”

The small puppy charmed audiences worldwide—and left a lasting effect on Travolta.

Backstage at the Oscars, the actor ran into Curtis, his buddy and co-star in the 1985 film Perfect, and couldn’t resist taking a photo with the adorable rescue puppy.

This prompted Travolta to decide to keep the dog for the sake of his son Benjamin, giving the Mac ‘n’ Cheese a truly “Hollywood ending.”

Curtis was pleased to see the rescued dog settling in so well with his new family when he was shown kissing Benjamin’s face in a “Happy Easter” video greeting posted by Travolta in April.

What a lovely video. We’re so thrilled Peanut, the rescue puppy, got such a wonderful new home with John Travolta and his family!
