5-Year-Old Piano Prodigy Performs for 101-Year-Old Grandma, Her Last Request Brings Him to Tears…

Piano prodigy Ryan Wang gave a special private concert for 101-year-old Dorothy Landry, just months after wowing audiences on “The Ellen Show” and performing at Carnegie Hall.

The intimate event, arranged by CBC Music, featured 5-year-old Ryan playing “Variations on an Inner Mongolian Folk Song” just for Dorothy.

Dorothy, who has been a fan of Ryan since he was three, struggled to fully enjoy his public performances due to her hearing impairment. To give her a more personal experience, CBC Music organized this private concert.

In a cozy room, Dorothy sat in her wheelchair while Ryan, holding a large teddy bear and looking quite young, bounced on his feet.

Ryan shared with “Grandma Dorothy” how much it meant to him to play for her, and she beamed with joy at the touching performance.

Dorothy thanked Ryan warmly, calling him a “very special little person” and expressing her excitement for his future performances. She even invited him to visit her again after his trip to China.

This heartfelt musical connection beautifully showcases the power of intergenerational bonds and the universal language of music.
