As King Charles undergoes regular cancer treatments in London, his son, Prince William, has taken on the responsibility of carrying out royal duties for both his father and the crown.
Alongside these duties, William is also caring for his wife, Catherine, who is recovering from abdominal surgery, and looking after their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Recently, Prince William attended a fundraiser for London’s Air Ambulance. During his speech, he expressed gratitude for the support and kind messages for Catherine and his father.
Among the attendees was actor Tom Cruise, whom William humorously asked not to “borrow” any helicopters for his next Mission Impossible film, noting Tom’s unique perspective on wear and tear.
William emphasized the importance of providing top-class medical care through air ambulance services. His experience as a former pilot for East Anglia Air Ambulance highlighted the critical role these teams play in delivering urgent care.
He stressed the urgent need for a new fleet of helicopters in London, as the current ones, though reliable, are due for replacement. The new helicopters, equipped with the latest technology, need to be operational by September, making community support crucial.
At the event, William also engaged with Ellen Convery, a former England women’s football player, showcasing his dedication to connecting with people from various backgrounds. King Charles, focusing on his treatments, is not attending public events and finds solace at the Sandringham estate.
