In today’s world, embracing natural beauty is trendy, and modeling is possible at any age. While older women are increasingly featured in ads for clothing, accessories, and cosmetics, swimwear and lingerie on older bodies still often draw mixed reactions.
Britain’s oldest female model, 71-year-old Susie Monty from Cornwall, is breaking barriers. After a 20-year break, she’s returned to modeling, including daring photo shoots.
Standing at 170 cm and wearing a size 38, Susie confidently showcases her figure.
“People are amazed that my hair is natural, but it’s real. I’ve never dyed it; it’s thick, dark, and reaches my waist,” she shares. Susie stays fit by walking and enjoys cooking and baking. “I don’t feel old; I feel 21.”
With 50 years in modeling, Susie now works only with those she trusts. Despite a benign tumor diagnosis in her 60s, she remains grateful and youthful, crediting her vitality to her genes, a healthy lifestyle, and a positive mindset.
“I meditate daily and feel blessed to still have my dark hair and figure,” she says. “Age is just a state of mind. My husband John and I are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary next year, and his support has been incredible.”
