An 8-year-old girl saved money for a bicycle but chose to do something else instead…

Children are naturally generous, kind, and empathetic.

It’s heartwarming to hear stories of kids using their savings to give small gifts to their parents. There’s something incredibly touching about a gift that a child has made or saved up for on their own.

Take, for example, a young girl from Tamil Nadu who had been dreaming of owning a bright bicycle to make her trips to school quicker and easier. But instead of asking her parents for the money, 8-year-old Anupriya decided to save up on her own, cutting back on school meals and her own little desires.

After several years, she had finally saved enough, but then something unexpected happened.

One evening, while watching TV with her parents, Anupriya learned about the devastating floods in Kerala, which claimed lives and left many homeless. Moved by their plight, she decided to donate her entire savings to help the victims of the natural disaster.

Her selfless act inspired many, with some even contributing to the relief fund. In a heartwarming twist, a company rewarded her by sending the long-awaited bike she had been saving for, proving that acts of kindness never go unrewarded.
