Vivienne complemented her look by wearing a green suit. Jolie’s subtle makeup and gold hoop earrings completed her ensemble, which quickly sparked online debate.
Vogue praised the duo’s “united mother-daughter fashion moment” on Instagram, while designer Donatella Versace shared that Jolie had significant creative input in the design of her 2013 gown, emphasizing the importance of artists supporting one another.
