Adele has announced she will be taking a break from the music industry after captivating fans with her incredible vocals for over two years.
The British pop star, known for hits like “Hello” and “Someone Like You,” made the emotional statement during her final performance in Munich as part of her European tour. This followed her highly successful “Weekends with Adele” residency in Las Vegas.

During the show, Adele expressed her need for a break, saying, “I need some time off. I want to enjoy the new life I’ve built over the past seven years.”
Reflecting on her career, she shared that, despite not always feeling comfortable on stage, she had enjoyed performing over the last three years.
However, after her remaining shows in Las Vegas this fall, Adele hinted she would step away for a while, telling fans she would carry them in her heart during her time off.
She also hinted at retiring her hit song “Chasing Pavements,” asking fans to sing louder than her, which left many wondering if they’d ever hear it live again. During the show, Adele humorously confirmed her engagement, showing off her dazzling $875,000 ring.

Adele’s decision follows a challenging few years, including postponing her Las Vegas residency due to COVID-19 and reported behind-the-scenes struggles.
