Recently, Angelina Jolie delighted her fans by making a public appearance with her eldest son, Maddox.
Maddox, now 21, looked handsome and grown-up during their visit to the White House for a banquet honoring the President of South Korea.
Thanks to the photos shared, everyone could see how much he has matured. The pictures were taken upon their arrival in Washington, D.C., where Jolie has often traveled for her humanitarian work as a UN Goodwill Ambassador.
Korea holds special significance for Maddox, as he has been studying at Yonsei University in Seoul for the past four years. Fans noted that he looked remarkably elegant in a formal outfit featuring a long black jacket, tailored trousers, and a white shirt with a tie.
Jolie, dressed in a stunning all-white ensemble, radiated pride as she walked beside him.
It’s worth mentioning that Angelina adopted Maddox from Cambodia in 2002. He first visited South Korea with her in 2018 while deciding on his college options. Although several universities showed interest, he ultimately chose Yonsei.
In 2019, Maddox moved to Seoul to live in a hostel, but in 2020, he returned to Los Angeles for a year of remote studies. He happily reunited with his mother for the banquet after being apart for a while.
