Keanu Reeves, one of the most beloved stars of his generation, recently revealed an unfortunate incident that left fans surprised.
Known for his action-packed roles in films like *The Matrix* and *John Wick*, the 59-year-old actor shared that he suffered a broken kneecap during filming.
During an interview with Stephen Colbert, Reeves explained how the injury occurred. Colbert asked, “What happened? How did it occur?” With a mix of humor and toughness, Keanu responded, “No one got to me. An accident got to me.”
The incident took place while filming a segment with Aziz Ansari and Seth Rogen for the upcoming comedy *Good Fortune*.
After shooting a cold plunge scene, Reeves decided to have some fun by doing a playful “cold shuffle” in a room with padded carpeting. Unfortunately, he tripped and fell, slamming his knee into the ground.
Demonstrating for Colbert, Keanu humorously described how he fell, saying, “My kneecap broke like a chipped potato.” Despite the injury, he laughed, noting, “Comedy is hard, man.”
In January, Reeves was seen on set using crutches with an ice pack on his knee. *Good Fortune* marks Ansari’s directorial debut, featuring Reeves alongside Sandra Oh and Keke Palmer.
