We all know that young children can do some pretty strange things out of curiosity as they explore the world around them. While most toddler antics are cute and harmless, sometimes they can take a turn for the worse. Thankfully, this toddler learned her lesson without any serious consequences.
Last Friday, a little girl named Ansleigh shocked her dad by giving herself a mullet haircut while he wasn’t looking.
Chad Clark, a 42-year-old father of four from Saint Augustine, Florida, couldn’t believe his eyes. “My first thought was, ‘My wife is going to kill me. That’s it, I’m dead,’” he joked.
Despite the initial panic, Clark found the situation amusing. Ansleigh proudly told him, “Dad, I did a really good job for the first time I’ve ever cut my hair.”
The mishap occurred while Clark was babysitting the kids at home. With his wife, Janie, away at a conference, three-year-old Ansleigh snuck into her room with some scissors intended for wrapping paper.
When Chad peeked into her room, he noticed her bangs were gone. He captured a video of Ansleigh explaining her new hairstyle and why she wanted to be a stylist “like Miss Jessica,” a family friend. The ending of the video is especially funny—you won’t want to miss it!
