It’s hard to believe Prince William and Kate Middleton have been married for over a decade. Their royal wedding was a global spectacle, and not long after, William watched his brother, Prince Harry, marry Meghan Markle.
The bond between the brothers has noticeably strained in recent years, with some suggesting Harry and Meghan’s relationship has been a major source of tension.
Meghan, a former American actress, made history by joining the Royal Family. One of the most memorable moments of the wedding was King Charles (then Prince Charles) walking Meghan down the aisle.
However, reports suggest Prince William had concerns, particularly about Meghan’s choice of wedding attire.
While Harry proposed with a custom ring featuring diamonds from Princess Diana’s collection, William was reportedly uneasy when Meghan decided to wear additional pieces of Diana’s jewelry on the big day.
In his memoir *Spare*, Harry shared how tensions between him and William were already growing during the wedding planning. Author Robert Jobson also noted that William sought assurances from Queen Elizabeth II about Meghan’s use of Diana’s jewelry.
