At 52, Matthew McConaughey is considered one of Hollywood’s most attractive stars, captivating fans worldwide with his looks. But the “True Detective” actor didn’t always look as he does today.
Recently, fans got a rare glimpse of McConaughey’s younger self, thanks to a photo he shared on social media.
The picture shows him alongside his father, who passed away in 1992 when McConaughey was only 22, and two other men.
Reflecting on his father’s passing, McConaughey noted in his memoir how unimaginable it felt to lose him. In the throwback image, McConaughey sports blond hair and a playful T-shirt that reads “Texas Student Leadership.”
Fans were quick to react, with comments like, “What a heartbreaker even back then!” and “Young Matthew could pass as a ’90s boy band lead singer.”
