The *When a Man Loves a Woman* singer took to social media last week, extending New Year’s wishes to his fans before sharing his unexpected health journey. “I faced some real challenges in 2023,” he wrote, explaining that the tumor required immediate surgery.
Bolton expressed heartfelt gratitude to his medical team and shared that he is now recovering at home with the unwavering support of his family.
During this time, Bolton will be stepping back from his tour schedule to focus on his recovery. “I’ll be dedicating the next few months to healing, so I’ll need to pause my touring temporarily,” he explained.
“It’s always difficult to cancel a show or let down my fans, but my priority is to get back to full health as quickly as possible.”
Fans have been pouring in with messages of love and encouragement for the singer, who is celebrated for classics like *How Am I Supposed to Live Without You* and *Said I Loved You… But I Lied.* Bolton had planned a tour beginning in February with stops in Switzerland, the U.S., the U.K., and Canada.
