Six actors who couldn’t stand each other while filming…

Richard Gere and Sylvester Stallone

In 1972-1973, Richard Gere and Sylvester Stallone were early in their acting careers, eager for fame.

Tensions flared on the set of *The Lords of Flatbush* when Stallone quickly took a dislike to Gere’s “cool” demeanor, particularly the way Gere flaunted his oversized motorcycle jacket.

Things escalated during a break when Gere’s mustard-covered chicken splattered on Stallone’s pants, sparking an immediate confrontation. Stallone demanded Gere be fired, and the director complied. Stallone’s breakthrough moment would only come later with *Rocky*.

Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson

In *The Fast and the Furious*, Vin Diesel initially had no issues sharing the screen with friend Paul Walker. But the arrival of Dwayne Johnson changed the dynamic, sparking a rivalry that became intense by the sixth film, leading to creative solutions to avoid filming together.

The friction continued into later installments, culminating in Diesel’s public invitation for Johnson’s return, which Johnson declined. Diesel’s displeasure with the spin-off *Hobbs & Shaw* only heightened the rift.

Bruce Willis and Kevin Smith

Bruce Willis and Kevin Smith first met on *Die Hard 4* but grew hostile during *Cop Out*. Willis, openly uninterested in Smith’s project, became increasingly difficult on set, eventually leading to physical and verbal tensions.

Willis refused to promote the film, and Smith openly criticized him at an event. Years later, Smith apologized publicly after learning of Willis’s aphasia diagnosis.
