Five-year-old Violet Burdick wowed the internet with her singing before she even appeared on *The Ellen DeGeneres Show*. Raised by her dad, Ryan, a local musician, Violet was introduced to music early on.
Her aunt sent a video of Violet singing to the show, and when Ryan got the call, he was surprised but proud.
On *Ellen*, Violet and Ryan shared their love for Dolly Parton and her Imagination Library, a program that gives books to kids.
Then, Violet sang Dolly’s “Jolene” with her dad playing guitar. The crowd loved it, and the video went viral!
As a special surprise, Ellen gave the family an all-expenses-paid trip to Dollywood in Tennessee. Ryan is now teaching Violet to play an instrument so she can sing and play music.
