Tina Sinatra, the daughter of music legend Frank Sinatra, opened up about her father’s deep regrets in his final moments.
At 75, Tina reflected on how Sinatra struggled with guilt over leaving his first wife, Nancy Barbato, who raised their older children, Frank Jr. and Nancy, on her own.
In an emotional interview, Tina shared that Sinatra apologized to her near the end of his life, expressing sorrow for the pain he caused.
His regret was especially tied to the impact his choices had on her during childhood. Despite the passing years, his guilt remained.
In a tender moment, he called her by her affectionate nickname, “Pigeon,” and said, “I’m sorry, Pigeon.”
Tina was only seven months old when Sinatra left the family home. Although they stayed in touch, she described him as emotionally distant.
Their relationship grew more strained in his later years, particularly after his fourth marriage to Barbara Marx.
