Paris Hilton revealed that her family’s Malibu home was destroyed in the Los Angeles wildfires.
In an emotional post on social media, Hilton described the heart-wrenching moment she watched her home burn live on television. “Heartbroken beyond words,” she wrote, reflecting on the memories created in the house.
It was where her son, Phoenix, took his first steps and where she and her husband, Carter Reum, dreamed of building a lifetime of moments with their children, Phoenix and London, both one year old.
The wildfires, fueled by powerful Santa Ana winds, have devastated Los Angeles County.
Major fires, including the Eaton Fire near Pasadena, the Pacific Palisades Fire, and the Hurst Fire in Sylmar, have collectively destroyed tens of thousands of acres, killed at least five people, and forced over 100,000 residents to evacuate.
While mourning the loss, Hilton expressed gratitude for her family’s safety and extended her sympathies to others affected. She also praised the bravery of firefighters and first responders, thanking them for their sacrifices.
Hilton urged the community to come together and support one another during this crisis. Other celebrities, including James Woods and Diane Warren, have also lost their homes as the wildfires continue to destroy lives and communities.
