Melissa Coulier, wife of actor Dave Coulier, provided an update on his health as he continues treatment for stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
“He has some really tough days, and as the chemotherapy accumulates, it becomes increasingly challenging,” Melissa shared with ABC WXYZ Detroit.

Despite the difficulties, she highlighted her husband’s unwavering optimism, saying, “He has such a positive attitude, and that’s essential for fighting this.”
Melissa also mentioned how the couple tries to embrace joyful moments. “Every morning, if he’s feeling up for it, we put on a song and have a little dance party with the dogs. When you feel good, it’s important to celebrate those moments,” she said.

The 65-year-old *Full House* star has drawn strength from his past experiences with cancer, having lost his mother, sister, niece, and another sister who also battled the disease. “He’s seen the resilience of the women close to him, and that inspires him to keep fighting,” Melissa added.
Dave revealed his diagnosis in November 2024, describing the news as feeling like “a punch in the stomach.” He began intensive chemotherapy shortly after, admitting that the process has been both daunting and unpredictable.

While some days bring renewed energy, others require rest and acceptance. Dave is expected to complete his chemotherapy in February 2025.
