Lindsie Chrisley Opens Up About the Clothes Her Dad Todd Wouldn’t Let Her Wear as a Teen…

In a recent *Coffee Convos* podcast episode with Kailyn Lowry, Lindsie Chrisley opened up about her childhood fashion restrictions.

At 35, Lindsie recalled how her dad, Todd Chrisley, wouldn’t allow her to wear trendy pieces like short skirts or clothes from brands like Abercrombie and Limited Too. As a result, she often felt left out compared to her peers.

The conversation then turned to today’s fashion, particularly butterfly skirts worn by Gen Z girls.

As a mom to 11-year-old Jackson, Lindsie questioned where parents should draw the line when it comes to their children’s clothing choices. Kailyn, a mom of seven, acknowledged that it’s a tricky topic.

She emphasized that while it’s important to avoid perpetuating harmful ideas about how clothing attracts male attention, parents must also consider the societal pressures that influence their children’s fashion choices.

Kailyn advised trusting parental instincts and ensuring kids feel comfortable and confident in their outfits.

Lindsie also shared her decision not to allow Jackson on social media, expressing concern about the potential impact of building an online presence at a young age.

She explained that she didn’t want him to feel pressured to gain followers or expect a paycheck, especially when it could affect his future choices, like working a regular job.
