Princess Beatrice introduces her premature baby daughter with a heartfelt statement and first photo…

Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, have welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi.

Buckingham Palace announced that Athena was born on January 22 at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London, weighing 4 pounds and 5 ounces. Both mother and baby are doing well, and the royal family is delighted by the news.

Beatrice and Edoardo shared a touching photograph of their newborn, wrapped in a pink blanket. Edoardo posted a heartfelt message, calling Athena “tiny and absolutely perfect” and thanking the hospital staff for their care during this special time.

Athena joins her older sister, Sienna, and Edoardo’s son from a previous relationship, Christopher Woolf. Since Edoardo did not receive a royal title upon his marriage to Beatrice, Athena does not hold one either.

Princess Eugenie celebrated the new arrival on social media, while Sarah, Duchess of York, expressed her excitement about becoming a grandmother again.

Beatrice, who works in the tech industry, has maintained a busy schedule throughout her pregnancy, making several public appearances.

The family splits their time between London’s St James’s Palace and their countryside home in the Cotswolds, where they enjoy a more private life.
