Tom Selleck kept his 80th birthday celebration simple, starting with a solo trip to McDonald’s.
The Emmy-winning actor was spotted at a drive-thru in Thousand Oaks, Calif., on Wednesday, enjoying lunch in his truck.

Later that evening, the *Blue Bloods* star celebrated with his wife, Jillie Mack, 67, and their daughter, Hannah, 36. The family dined at Tuscany il Ristorante, a well-known celebrity hotspot.
Joined by other loved ones, they enjoyed a long, intimate meal that lasted until closing time. As he left, Selleck was seen carrying a gift.

Despite the milestone, Selleck isn’t big on birthday celebrations. In a recent *Parade* interview, he shared that he prefers quiet dinners with family and doesn’t keep track of his age anymore.
With *Blue Bloods* ending after 15 years, Selleck admitted he’ll miss the cast and crew, calling them his second family. While he’s not ready to retire, he hopes to take on a Western directed by *Yellowstone* creator Taylor Sheridan.

For now, the Hollywood legend seems happy enjoying life’s simple pleasures—whether it’s a burger in his truck or a special night out with family.
