Susan Lucci feels more confident thanks to a few simple pleasures that help her embrace her best self.
At the American Heart Association’s Red Dress Collection Concert in New York City on January 30, the *All My Children* star opened up about what makes her feel great.
“A great dress and a little spa [day],” said the Emmy-winning actress, who dazzled in a sequin halter-neck gown.
At 78, Lucci joined other stars to celebrate the event, which featured performances by Suki Waterhouse and Sara Bareilles, along with runway moments from Porsha Williams, Teyana Taylor, and Abigail Spencer.
Sharon Stone hosted the event at Jazz at Lincoln Center.
A longtime supporter of the AHA, Lucci has been attending the event for years, even walking the runway in past years. She became an AHA ambassador in 2018 and has been open about her heart health journey, which led to two procedures for heart stents.
In 2023, Lucci launched a jewelry collection to raise awareness for heart health and encouraged other women to take their health seriously.
