Tash Evans wanted to enhance her lips with a lip blush tattoo, but the results were far more dramatic than expected.
The 21-year-old from the UK experienced extreme swelling, with her lips expanding to five times their normal size. She shared her experience on social media, where it quickly gained attention.
“The side effects aren’t often talked about,” Evans noted in her video, showing the unexpected reaction. The swelling began immediately after the procedure, leaving her with an exaggerated look.
Her family and friends were shocked. Her mother was surprised by the change, and her boyfriend couldn’t help but laugh when he first saw her.
Despite this, Evans chose not to seek medical attention, believing the swelling would go down on its own. She wore a mask in public and stayed home while waiting for the effects to subside, which took about two days.
Many online urged her to see a doctor, but Evans reassured them that she wasn’t in pain.
Now that the swelling has gone down, she is happy with the final results. “I love how they turned out,” she said, pleased with the color and shape of her lips.
