Fox TV host’s surprising revelation leaves viewers shocked…

Holly Morris bid farewell to FOX 5 DC in 2024 after 25 years, leaving behind a career filled with achievements, challenges, and unexpected viral moments.

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, she earned a civil engineering degree from Duke University in 1993 before entering the world of journalism.

Joining WTTG in Washington, D.C., in 1998, she became a well-known morning anchor, winning four regional Emmy Awards and a regional Edward R. Murrow Award for her live reporting.

Her career, however, wasn’t without controversy. In 2013, a verbal slip during a live broadcast covering President Barack Obama’s second inauguration sparked outrage.

Though many defended her, the moment went viral. Years earlier, she endured public ridicule from a radio show that aired old clips of her for laughs.

In 2016, she openly discussed her 2005 divorce from former station weatherman Tom Sater, revealing the affair and addiction struggles that led to their split.

Despite hardships, she found happiness with lawyer Thomas Espy, marrying in 2007 and welcoming a son. Recently, an unexpected YouTube clip brought her back into the spotlight, proving that live television, with all its unpredictability, never truly fades from memory.
