One of Sean Combs’ attorneys has filed a motion to withdraw from his legal team. Anthony Ricco submitted the request without providing a specific reason, stating that he can no longer effectively serve as counsel.
His withdrawal must be approved by a judge before it becomes official.

Despite Ricco’s departure, Combs still has five attorneys representing him in his federal case, including lead counsel Marc Agnifilo.
Ricco explained that he reached his decision after discussing the matter with Agnifilo but refrained from disclosing further details due to attorney-client privilege.
He also assured that his withdrawal would not delay trial proceedings or legal briefings.
Currently, Combs remains in custody while awaiting trial. In September, he was indicted on federal charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. He has pleaded not guilty.

Judges have denied him bail three times, citing concerns about potential witness tampering.
Combs is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, with his trial set to begin on May 5.
