For years, his shoulder-length hair had been a part of his identity. Thick, slightly wavy, and always falling just right, it gave him a laid-back, artistic look.
Some people loved it, some thought it made him stand out—but it always drew attention. It became something people expected from him, a style he stuck with for what felt like forever.
But one day, seemingly out of nowhere, he decided he was ready for a change. A big one.
He walked into a barbershop he’d never been to before, sat down, and said, “Make it short. Really short.”
