Long before she became one of the most recognizable women in fashion, Donatella Versace was simply the younger sister of Gianni Versace.
Born in Italy, Donatella grew up surrounded by fashion and creativity.
Her brother founded the Versace fashion house in 1978, and she eventually became deeply involved in the brand alongside him. But her life changed forever in 1997, when Gianni was murdered outside his Miami Beach home.

In a 2006 interview, she acknowledged using Botox and said that if she disliked how she looked in photographs, she would consider having a lift.

Yet her story is much bigger than her appearance.
Donatella transformed herself from Gianni Versace’s younger sister into the public face of a global fashion empire. She continued to lead Versace for decades, working with some of the biggest names in entertainment and fashion.
