Eduardo Reis and his cyclist partners were riding on a Brazilian track when one of them got a flat. They pulled over to fix it, and across the road, some lonely puppy eyes caught their attention. This poor dog had been abandoned in the middle of nowhere.
Eduardo brought the dog for the rest of the journey, knowing he couldn’t just leave him ! Warrior was glad to have been rescued and clung to his hero as the group completed their training. Eduardo agreed to foster Warrior until a forever home could be found for him, and so they had some lovely moments together in the days ahead.
Warrior was later adopted by a lovely family that spoiled him and showed him great love! And to think that all came together due to a flat tire is amazing!
