Some people are really horrible to animals! They are made to suffer for no apparent reason. Buddy, a dog that became a victim and had his face severely burnt, experienced the same thing.
However, that dog has since magically recovered.
Buddy, a dog known as cheerful and carefree, was set on fire in April, according to the Tunica Humane Society. His face was fully burned and charred black as a result of the fire.
According to WTVA, a teenager later confessed to setting Buddy on fire, but he couldn’t be prosecuted since he was under the age of 12.
Mississippi State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine provided Buddy with medical care. Buddy began to improve gradually.
His burns were treated with skin grafts. He now wears less bandages and is gradually recovering his old self. He was more happier and more lively once his ears were free of the bandages, according to the Tunica Humane Society.
Buddy’s bandages have been totally covering his eyes for the first time since the incident was removed, which is good news for his health. Buddy would be able to see for the first time in three months, which is excellent news.
Buddy’s eyes were genuinely open and he was quite conscious, according to the Humane Society, and it was only thanks to the prayers of millions that he was able to see.
This was a significant step towards normalcy, since he could see again. When he saw the light of day, his entire personality changed. Buddy’s eyelids will need to be worked on to protect his eyes, despite the fact that it is a great step forward.
He will have special needs for the remainder of his life due to the severity of his injuries. His skin will be extremely sensitive, and he’ll most likely need eye drops. He’ll also need to wear sunscreen when he’s outside.
We are glad to hear that Buddy will be able to visit you again. We hope he finds a forever home soon.
