A pod of humpback whales arrived right at the docks, surprising visitors vacationing at a resort in northern British Columbia.
The two humpback whales were seen feeding in the seas just in front of Great Bear Lodge, which is situated in Port Hardy on Vancouver Island’s northern coast.
“Imagine our delight this morning when two humpback whales joined us for breakfast,” the resort said on YouTube. Tourists, some still in their bathrobes, gathered on the wharf excitedly (but quietly) to watch the beautiful event.
