Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, are often seen together on the red carpet at major award shows like the Grammys, CMA Awards, and American Music Awards. Fans love their chemistry, especially at the CMT Music Awards, where Fisher has supported Underwood since 2012.
While he was absent from the 2023 CMT Awards in Austin, Texas, it was not due to conflict; he chose to stay home to focus on their children as Underwood competed for two awards.
She explained, “My husband is on kid duty tonight. He usually holds down the fort while I work on projects like this.”
Although the couple is famous, they strive to keep their sons, Isaiah and Jacob, out of the limelight.
Underwood mentioned that they decided not to bring the kids on tour to maintain their routine. She praised Fisher as a dedicated father, saying, “He has everything under control while I’m away.”
While Fisher has always wanted to be a loving father, Underwood initially doubted her parenting abilities. However, after becoming a mother, she found that it transformed her perspective. “It has changed who I am as a person. I feel better now. I am completely in love!” she said.
