On November 19, 1997, Bobby McGee and her husband Kenny, from Iowa, made headlines as the first known parents to give birth to seven surviving children at once.
The children, named Kenny Jr., Alexis, Natalie, Kelsey, Nathan, Brandon, and Joel, weighed between 1.13 and 1.54 kg at birth.
Brandon later joined the army, while the other six pursued college. They also have an older sister, Michaela, who is married and lives nearby.
In 2017, Michaela gave birth to a son, making the seven children aunts and uncles.
Natalie was the first of the septuplets to marry in May 2019, followed by Brandon in August of the same year.
