Celine Dion Pays Tribute to Late Husband René Angélil with Queen’s “The Show Must Go On” at Billboard Awards…

At the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, Celine Dion paid tribute to her late husband, René Angélil, who had also been her longtime manager. As she accepted the ICON Award, Dion said, “Rene, this one is for you,” adding, “The show must go on.”

In an emotional moment, her son, Rene-Charles, surprised her by presenting the award. Dion expressed deep gratitude to her fans, family, children, and, above all, her “beloved husband, who I know will keep watching over me from above.”

The tribute capped off a powerful performance where Dion, now 56, sang Queen’s “The Show Must Go On” in honor of perseverance.

The song, first released in 1991 shortly before Freddie Mercury’s passing, has been part of Dion’s live performances, and she recently recorded a new version with violinist Lindsey Stirling.

Dion took the stage in a sparkling dress, accompanied by Stirling and a full orchestra, introduced by Seal in a moment that underscored her resilience and legacy.
