Kind Woman Rescues And Helps Unwanted Horses!

The racehorse breeding industry is fiercely competitive. Breeders encourage mares to have as many foals as possible, but their primary purpose is to obtain valuable milk from nursing moms in order to raise race-ready thoroughbreds.

Victoria Goss, the creator of Last Chance Corral, comes to their rescue as the unwanted foals are left and allowed to perish.  She cares for them and assists them in surviving without their mother. She has a significantly lower loss rate of early foals than the industry norm because to her heroic efforts.

Victoria has been caring for horses since she was 12 years old. Her heart breaks for these  foals, but she is unable to hire a competitive staff due to budget reasons. When volunteers are available, she asks for their help, but she usually manages the sanctuary on her own.

However, the support given to these foals is very minimal in comparison to the massive number of horses being born and thrown. Due of her limited finances, she has to turn away numerous foals every day, which crushes her heart. Our hearts have been touched by Victoria’s unselfish endeavor. Visit Last Chance Corral’s Facebook page if you want to give to the effort or adopt a horse.
