A charming video shows a horse soothing a sobbing newborn girl by purposefully shaking her car seat with his nose.
Ruby was “upset and crying” when Stacey Storer took her eight-month-old daughter Ruby to a friend’s stable in Nottingham. But she was quickly calmed down by Red, a horse who came up and rocked her in her car seat. Ruby, who adores animals, laughed and grinned when Red poked his head out of his stable and rocked her back and forth, prodding her chair with his nose.
Red’s reaction is similar to that of Donato, a horse that enjoys gently stroking infants who come to see him.
