As he got struck in the face by his sister during a bear-knuckle boxing fight, this tiny cub couldn’t hide his distress.
At the Cabarceno Wildlife Park in Spain, the siblings gave everything they had during the rough and tumble play battle.
As the cubs battled on the grass, Belgian nature and wildlife photographer Jeffrey Van Daele was on hand to snap the cute series of photographs.
“I’m not usually an action photographer,” he explained, “and my major purpose in photography is to attempt to make beautiful pictures.”
“However, I must add that seeing these cubs playfully fight was a beautiful and emotional experience.”
