After stumbling across homeless moggies Daikichi and Fuku-chan wandering the streets, owners Tomomi and Daisuke Nagasawa from Tokyo brought them home.
After Daikichi became nervous while the couple was gone, Daisuke, the CEO of a tech firm, decided to start carrying the cats on their vacations.
The pair has brought the cats all around Japan, including to the famous Showa Memorial Park in Tokyo and, most lately, to Odawara Castle in Kanagawa Prefecture, where they photographed them amid the cherry blossoms.
“Both Daikichi and Fuku-chan remained quiet in front of the gorgeous flowers,” Daisuke added.
“As a result, we’ve all had time to sit peacefully and admire the beauty of the cherry blossoms with our cats.”
